I was walking with a friend named Barney Lentil
Who somehow strangely enough owned a rental
We were sight seeing to the tune of a joint
Which smelled so sweetly and so thick
And when we were done we walked along to try and find Peopleman
Who looked at my friends armpits and said "My God, this man has the rabies!"
And I said "Peopleman, what makes you so up and cool?"
And he said, "'Cause I'm a cool Peopleman."
Well he had me convince oh he had me convinced
That the only way I could win was to lose
And I said "Well maybe some day I'll have to choose."
And Peopleman said "My God man, you got nothing to lose."
Well I'll smoke another cigarette and hope it doesn't kill me today
Or should I smoke a joint, I know "Hand me my pipe!"
And I said "Barney could you possibly give me a light?"
And he said "Alright you mother, all right."
Well I'll end this song with a human point of view
You see I'm kinda drunk, and Peopleman hit the trail
And Finchly and Freda were found dead in their cage
They left nothing behind but just one egg
 "Peopleman, what made you so up and cool?"
And I think he would've said, "'Cause I'm a cool Peopleman."
